Describing the part, production quantity and existing mould condition together makes the technical assessment clearer. State any unknowns instead of guessing, so we can review them together.
Part file and revision
Attach the STEP or STP model, drawing with critical dimensions and revision details, if available. Make sure the model and drawing are the same revision. If you only have a photo, also provide the basic dimensions and intended use.
Material, colour and quantity
- Material type and commercial grade, if known.
- Colour, surface appearance and additional processing requirements.
- Initial order quantity and recurring production needs.
- Operating environment and critical functions of the part.
If you have an existing mould
Send mould photos, overall dimensions, cavity count and details of the machine previously used, if available. Mention any known maintenance or modification needs. Suitability for production is determined through technical review.
File sharing
