The process from drawing to production
- Initial review: We review the product, material and production targets.
- Scope and quotation: Mould specifications, work scope and delivery schedule are defined.
- Design and manufacturing: Mould design, machining and assembly follow the agreed scope.
- Trials and assessment: Mould trials and sample inspections are performed when included in the project.
Frequently asked questions
Which files are needed for a mould quotation?
Send a STEP or STP model and dimensioned technical drawing, if available. Product material, annual volume, critical dimensions and target delivery date help us assess the project.
Can we work from a sample alone?
An initial assessment can be made using sample photographs and basic dimensions. Design or measurement requirements are determined after examining the part.
How are mould cost and lead time determined?
Part geometry, cavity count, mould material, core and runner design, and trial scope are considered together. Price and lead time are confirmed after reviewing the project details.
Can you also produce plastic parts after making the mould?
We can also assess your injection moulding requirements, subject to mould and machine compatibility. Specify mould manufacturing and part production separately in your enquiry.
